Over the course of 36 hours, we came together to tell a story about homelessness. The numbers we couldn't ignore revealed an invisible population: the working homeless. A job in New York City—or even two jobs—does not guarantee you a place to live. And so our perspective on the issue shifted: from homeless to houseless.
